As part of our ongoing efforts to improve our products and deliver a better user experience, we are completely updating the look and feel of the AltaPay Merchant Interface.
While the portal will soon feature a fresh, modernized design, please rest assured that there is zero impact on your day-to-day operations or technical setup.
Here is what you need to know:
- No Action Required: You do not need to perform any migrations, update settings, or reconfigure your account.
- Data & Functionality: While visual representations may have a new style, all existing reporting data, tools, and workflows will remain fully available to you.
- User Access: Your existing login credentials, permissions, and team access will stay exactly the same.
- APIs & Integrations: All technical connections, payment pathways, and API endpoints will continue to operate without interruption.
- Agreements: Your commercial terms, fee structures, and existing contracts remain completely unchanged.
This update is purely a visual enhancement designed to provide you with a cleaner, more intuitive interface.

We are currently investigating a network issue causing intermittent connection failures when making API calls.

AltaPay merchants using Rapyd acquiring are experiencing a delay in merchant settlements due to an external systems issue.
Rapyd reported a temporary systems outage with Banking Circle which is the service used to process settlements. Because of this issue, merchant payouts scheduled for July 16, 2026, could not be processed.
Rapyd has indicated that they expect these delayed payouts to be completed and processed today, July 17, 2026. We will share updates if we detect any further expected delays.

Our technical team traced the issue to a change in firewall configuration. While we have successfully mitigated the problem and confirmed that payment processing is fully functional, we are continuing to investigate the underlying cause of the firewall change to ensure long-term stability and prevent future occurrences.

Our technical team has identified a problem with the 3D Secure (3DS) authentication flow within the Shopify embedded application. Because the 3DS verification is not functioning correctly, customers are unable to finalize their payments at checkout.
If your store is affected, you can restore credit card processing by temporarily switching from the embedded application to our regular Shopify application. Detailed instructions for setting up and configuring both applications can be found on our AltaPay Shopify Wiki.

The issues affecting the Mastercard 3D Secure (3DS) service seem to have been fully resolved. Based on our monitoring the Mastercard transaction processing has returned to normal.
